Don't get me incorrect; The Las Vegas Strip is great. I love it there. But occasionally, the strip can be a little much, and frankly, I would rather swallow a pill of cyanide than go anyplace near it. And I know every local feels that way simply because they've all stated it to me. And following a few rough times, some vacationers require a split from The Strip as nicely. Fortunately, this fantastic city has much more to offer than just what can be discovered on that four-mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard.
