If you are looking for some thing to do on your vacation weekend in Detroit then I suggest you get out to Arts Beats & Eats in downtown Royal Oak through September 5th. It is certainly an end-of-the-summer time fun festival celebrating art, songs and food. There is plenty of scrumptious food to select from with close to 70 restaurants, caterers and dining points of interest.
Do something enjoyable! What about the chocolate chip cookies, a model airplane, or a picnic desk? What ever your pastime, Friday evening is a perfect time to get out the components, resources, or whatever and play until you're too exhausted to play more. Received kids? Teach your pastime. There are so numerous; The Mother Truckers, Band of Heathens, Macon Greyson who is 1 of my individual favorites, and so many others. My good friends Goldcure just place out a fantastic E.P. The Wiltern is located in Los Angeles on the corner of Wilshire and Western (therefore the title. Clever, huh?). This place is Huge, but it still has the really feel of a little club. It used to be much more a traditional theatre, with fixed seats, but most of the seats have been eliminated. There are now 5 tiers on the floor level, and a number of seats up in the balcony. The nice factor about the tiers is that they can pack a great deal of people in, and everybody still has a fairly great view of the phase.
